I've read a couple of VNs, and my most favorite title is Kira☆Kira. So far, Mangagamer have released 4 translated OVERDRIVE VNs. They are Edelweiss, Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia, Kira☆Kira, and Kira☆Kira Curtain Call.
Edelweiss' story is about Haruma Kazushi, an idiot who transferred school with this buddies. The school is located on Eiden Island, and Eiden Island has some secrets. What will happen with Kazushi on his stay there? Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia continues Kazushi's story from Edelweiss, and includes an incredibly funny route.
Kira☆Kira introduces us to Shikanosuke Maejima, your average school boy who was just dumped by his girlfriend. He joins a literature club, but it will be disbanded next year due to the club's inactivity. In order to save the club, they make a band called the Second Literary Club (dai2bungeibu) and performs during the school festival. Their success were put on the Internet, and a live house in Nagoya offered them to perform there. Although they were originally wanted to disband the band right after the school festival, they went to Nagoya instead. Shikanosuke's band begins their live tour across Japan in his friend's old van. With great story, interesting characters, and (of course) great musics, this is a must read VN. Kira☆Kira Curtain Call continues the story after Kira☆Kira true ending.
Unlike Edelweiss which suffers from bad translation, Kira☆Kira's translation is really good. In Edelweiss, even the name of the protagonist sometimes changes due to bad translation (Kazushi, Kazuki, Kazuya, etc.).
